Once again, I have another idea and kind of a fun one.
Arcade! Would be really neat to have Arcades, have a bunch of Arcade machines like Skeeball and Video Games. You can set prices for the type of machines, and sell food like Pizza and Burgers and maybe add some new stuff like Cotton Candy, Popcorn and Fountain Drinks. Would mean new appliances too which would be cool, maybe have a specific Appliance seller that sells entertainment appliances.
Or even a vending machine business! You could put it in someone else’s business space and share some of the revenue with the business owner that you put the vending machine in.
Maybe they could put in some sort of negotiation system for negotiating the percentage??
Thanks! A lot of the time IRL these two are sometimes combined. A few local laundry places in my area have claw machines in them that they profit share with the person that owns the machine.
Vending Machines could be added pretty much anywhere, yes! In those cases, the vending machine/claw machine is owned by another company that comes in periodically to fill it up and collect the money and do maintenance.
So, if there were a vending machine company, you could install those machines into any existing company!
a gaming club. In the gaming club, visitors can play on powerful computers as well as consoles. The gaming club earns an hourly fee, and there is also a VIP area. The game club also sells food. and you can also put a VR headset for visitors
it would be cool to have run a arcade. it would function in the same vein as night clubs of having a cover charge for week days and weekends but generates revenue in the same nature as a office building, with the number of machines for different games determining revenue based on capacity and traffic.
It would be good a cyber cafe business, where you could also add a new mechanism that is the cost of electricity, where apart from having to invest in the computer equipment would be to pay the consumption of electricity generated by these (apart from the other businesses that would also have consumption but to a lesser extent). You could have two types of pc’s, the low-mid gamma with a cost of 10 dollars an hour and the high gamma 15 dollars an hour. We could also generate profits from the sale of food and beverages. New foods could be added such as snacks and food:
Another mechanism (as mentioned in comments on another post) to provide maintenance to refrigerators and in this case the pc, hiring new type of employee that would provide this depending on the district that is assigned through a headquarters. Also that this type of business would be more in demand for example in Garment District and Hell’s Kitchen where there is more lower-middle class.
Hey there !
Since I had the same idea and found your suggestion, I’ll come here to share.
Really like the idea of having a cyber cafe but I would put the focus more on the gaming aspect :
Console
PC
Board games ?
Different Chairs for gaming with different price (Normal / Medium / VIP rates)
Of course the Cyber Cafe can also sell what you have proposed, but I would rather focus on that gaming aspect , the fact that the hours are different since people might tend to come by night to play alone or with others.
I was thinking about adding consoles too, but I didn’t know if in other parts of the world, like Latin America, it was common to have consoles in cyber cafes. I also like the chairs and board games, hopefully if they add cyber cafe’s it will also be with your suggestions
