Currently, as long as you assign your employees to be trained before midnight, they will start training the next day, but if you assign at 00:01, they won’t start training until the following day. However, training isn’t 24-hours as it ends at 1700, so logically, it would start sometime in the morning. Would it be possible to accept trainees, as long as they are assigned before “class” starts? Like if training goes from 0900-1700, then as long as you assign them to train prior to 0900, it still works.

I support what Dave says to leave the registration open until the start of the class.
Also I wouldn’t set the current task to “Training” until it actually starts
