Started a new save.
Bought fridge, put on handcart. Bought food, attempted to put paper bag on top of box on handcart.
Had to discard food to be able to use handcart to take fridge home as character was unable to put paper bag on handcart.
Paper shopping bag should be able to be dropped without items being destroyed / be stacked at top of handcart.

This should be resolved in EA 0.8, now out in experimental!
