In real life, owning a major nightclub in a city usually consists of booking major acts and curating an event.
I think it would be cool to have to pick out some randomly generated major DJs/performers up to 2 weeks in advance, have them have a “popularity rating” and then have them have “venue needs”. Maybe the need at least 4 security, they need specific beverages available, etc. based on their popularity rating and your in house DJs playing, that impacts ticket sales.
You could even implement a “drivers function to “pick them up”
Of course, you need to negotiate a price, and track your sales over two weeks. You can book the same artist a few times, but sometimes that won’t get as many sales. If you make a good relationship with the DJ, you can hire them on a residency, and get a better rate for them to play play every 21 days
