I sometimes have difficulty picking the right residential building when going home. I have to either remember my address and read each address or watch for the choice to ‘enter’ to pop up. I also am sometimes unsure which building is housing my business as from some angles, the signs are difficult to read.
I think that buildings I own or are renting should be a slightly different color than the rest.
Also, I think that when the building disappears because the mouse is over it or it blocks the view that the ‘bare’ foundation of the building could be used to convey information.
First, buildings that I own or rent should have a different color foundation. Furthermore, I think that every building should show its building type icon on the foundation when the building disappears.
