Use the church for happiness? Like litting a candle for his deceased grandma? And it gives you some happiness % … ties in with the storyline. And then it’s not just a useless building?

Because the devs are limited on INTERIORS that can be used when you enter any building, it might be better to have one of the rooms decorated as a CHAPEL within the cathedral/church rather than trying to show the whole church interior. Not sure which room would be most appropriate, but probably something like the D2 retail unit could be used as it has no storage area to worry about and would be large enough for pews, altar, etc to be included as a one-off unit.
