Yes, That’s correct.
That’s not a bug. Hiding that panel would make it impossible to use the radio/know about the car state while driving. You can add a suggestion though!

The panel is certainly useful, but it does make it hard to parallel park sometimes since the solid grey bar is right behind the car.
A simple compromise for this would be if the box were borderless. Another option would be to give it the new the collapsible UI treatment and squash it the bottom edge of the screen.

Just to chime in on this a way to hide the UI would be great something similar to how you and minimize the BizPhone, for me I really just want to admire the car i’m driving, the vehicles look really nice and id like to drive w/o the UI in my face.
Other Ideas
Add Hotkeys for Parking, and Sleeping while in a vehicle.

Closing this as the UI has been greatly reduced for added screen visibility!
