Billboards on buildings

The large billboards are mostly attached to buildings, which got me thinking: shouldn’t the owners of the buildings get a cut of the marketing fees?

If I own a building and the shop below it, I would want to focus on marketing my own business. If it’s not my business being marketed, I would want a fee for driving traffic to someone else’ business.

Agreed, it might also help with improving the business.

  1. I can separately purchase a billboard for promotion, and let this billboard only display my store or company, based on the traffic flow of this building to calculate the promotion effort.
  2. I bought a building with an attached billboard, which I can charge for advertising and control who can appear on the billboard.
