Add parameters for scheduling

I think the ability to add minimum and maximum hours per day, per staff member would add a lot of immersion and make things a bit more realistic. I mean it’s easy when setting up say, a factory, as you just give everyone 12-hour shifts. The thing is, if you tried doing that in today’s world you’d have a rebellion on your hands from the staff and about four different government bodies bashing on your door waving fines at you. Then a union rep would appear…

If we could set, for example, an eight-hour maximum shift length and a four-hour minimum, it would bring it in line with current labour limits. You simply set those limits and when you click on the scheduler and add someone, it automatically sets their shift length to that maximum instead of the current default of 12 hours. If the auto-scheduler could work on the same rules, it would be awesome.

Oh wait and additionally - overtime! You set the maximum hours a person can work per week when you set up a new game and any staff that work over that receive a penalty rate of say 1.5x the normal rate. They also take a hit to their satisfaction - which really hurts in the V10 beta as a factory worker with 100% skill and satisfaction will produce 250 bags of carrots/hour while someone with 99% satisfaction makes (I think) 220 - using the same number of ingredients, so it adds up. This is especially so for things like electronics. I purposely brought in low-level factory workers to see the difference and my electronics factory costs $2,000,000 less per week in components at 100% skill/satisfaction than when they started.

Off topic - but the V10 beta rocks! You guys have nailed factories - although I wish you could set up the new workstations in a line or something as this hurts my sense of order and symmetry.
