Any news on when the real estate component will get revamped? I wouldnt mind consulting the developpers for free on the topic of simulation and balancing with the rest of the game

we’d have to discuss the desired end result of course - generally speaking real estate should be another venue for people to allocate their capital and a source of pride (much like if not more than the fancy cars in the game), of course it shouldn’t outshine the business side of the game which can be achieved through the market yields of property types, locations, condition and financing terms, and shouldn’t be very micro managy like the businesses to the extent of picking furniture for rental units. I will monitor this thread if anyone has questions I could answer :slight_smile:

Has there been any progression on this? Buying a building for 142 million and renting it for 1400 isn’t a good investment and nothing has changed in well over a year. Rivals own all the buildings and can force you out or not let you buy if they are your current opponent. I want to be clear, I think the pricing of the buildings currently is fine, however real estate once you’re later in the game should be one of the most profitable things you can own, not the least. There’s no way to upgrade the property you buy to increase the rent, plus good luck trying to resell the property. I don’t know who are but commented on the beginning of this post in June 2022 saying this would be addressed in beta 4. Everything put into the game has been great so keep up the good work, but since this is already in the game I feel this should be a fairly easy fix but i am not a developer so I maybe entirely wrong. Thank you guys!

the opportunity to use housing as a business. it will be possible to rent an apartment (for a day, a week, a month, a year)
