I’d like to be able to go on holiday for X days/weeks.
Other than being reality, it could improve happiness for a longer period-
Interrupting it could be an additional option with a happiness malus

Vacation Feature
Simple button to go on vacation to refill your happyness status.
Vacation type 1(Train - $3,000): 1 Day Skip - Refill happyness for 2 days
Vacation type 2(Car $5,000): 3 days skip - Refill happyness for 6 days
Vacation type 3 for boat owners(Boat $15,000): 1 week skip - Refill happyness for 10 days
I gave the idea, you adjust the cost/happyness percentage.
