When I place the cabinet, cash register, shopping baskets, and rounded shelf the objective doesn’t update, I cant progress any further.

Could you post a screenshot of you inside the business so I can see if anything looks wrong?
I had to retake the screenshot using NVIDIA stuff, hope you can make it out, also for some reason it shows me to own two businesses but I only rented one building

I think I know - maybe you rented the building but haven’t assigned it to be a certain business yet? If you open in bizman, do you see “start a new business”?
Ooh, or maybe that’s the issue - you might have started a second business, and you are putting the items in the wrong business. One of those two issues - I don’t think you’re currently in a gift shop.
I’m in the gift shop, I’ve named it “The Nook” but I don’t know how or why I have two businesses, when I highlight the building it says gift shop on it

Okay I got it fixed, I had to close “The Nook” apparantly that was my 2nd business that was somehow given to me, I shut the other business down, then re-opened it and named it “The Nook” again lol

Weird - maybe a stray click or something happened while in the map.
